Down a dingy back street, walked in expecting something better than the run down entrance but immediately hit by the smell; dank, rotten like a warehouse with a rat infestation. Toilets possibly the worst I have been in, don't think they had been cleaned for a while - had to walk through urine to get to the basins!!

Staff surly, and though the alcohol is expensive they substitute for cheap brands and watered down foreign beer.

All in all a very disappointing place - one word to people thinking about a night out or a stag or hen do - DON'T!!

Bristol is a great place with a great deal of smart and fun bars and clubs. Bierkeller is not one of them.
