Oceana looks impressive from the outside but once you’re inside the club has very little to separate it from the dozens of other pop music nightclubs. Although each of the rooms is themed it’s actually fairly hard to distinguish them from one another once they’re full of people. The only real exception to this is the “Parisian Boudoir” room which is a nice bar to chill out in and have a few drinks (as well as get away from the hordes of drunkens).
Don’t expect to get in here if you’re in a big group. From my experience the bouncers tend to try and find an excuse not to let in at least one of you friends. Common reasons for being turned away are being too drunk (even if you’re teetotal) and not being dressed smart enough. Of course once you’re inside you can drink yourself legless!
I’ve given Oceana a generous 3/10 since the building is fairly impressive and on week nights you can get cheep drinks but I certainly wouldn’t recommend the club.
