Sparc - Harry's Dubstep Anthem (Distrikt Remix) [BMR050]
Sparc - Harry's Dubstep Anthem (Distrikt Remix) [BMR050]
Released by: Betamorph Recordings Release/catalogue number: BMR050 betamorphrecordings.com Release date: Sep 22, 2011 Sparc, the young master hailing from Bristol, UK, is about to go nuclear. One listen to "Harry's Dubstep Anthem" will reveal that this soundbwoy wants nothing more than to destroy the floor with his uniquely crisp production and gangster sensibilities. "Click, Click Fiyaah" is a perfect example. Beginning with police sirens, some high frequency bass play and a snare so fat it'll smack your mamma, this track is obviously up to no good. As if to confirm this theory, Sparc accents the drop with a gunshot that triggers alarms and a steady rolling bass line that will rip through the crowd like an aural chainsaw. Crispy bass and cheeky samples aside, Sparc's snare work in this EP is fantastic. In "Harry's Dubstep Anthem" the reverse snare slips along in the beatdown sections adding texture and flow, while in other tracks his snare can be either quick and sharp, or extremely fat and reverberated according to the tempo. Whether Dubstep or Drumstep, Sparc's new tracks are "Fick, As Well As Fat". His sounds bring the funk to any set in any venue, and Betamorph Recordings is proud to add this extraterrestrial talent to the family tree. Lacuna Coil - Losing My Religion
Album: Dark Adrenaline Year: 2012 Genre: Gothic/Alternative Metal Country: Italy [originally by REM] Oh life, it's bigger It's bigger than you And you are not me The lengths that I will go to The distance in your eyes (The distance in your eyes) Oh no, I've said too much I set it up (I've set it up) That's me in the corner That's me in the spotlight I'm losing my religion Trying to keep up a view And I don't know if I can do it Oh no, I've said too much I haven't said enough I thought that I heard you laughing I thought that I heard you sing I think I thought I saw you try Every whisper Of every waking hour I'm choosing my confessions Trying to keep an eye on you Like a hurt lost and blinded fool Oh no I've said too much I set it up I thought that I heard you laughing I thought that I heard you sing I think I thought I saw you try But that was just a dream Try, cry, why I think I thought I saw you try Consider this Consider this, the hint of the century Consider this, the slip That brought me to my knees failed What if all these fantasies come Flailing around Now I've said, and now I've said too much I thought that I heard you laughing I thought that I heard you sing I think I thought I saw you try But that was just a dream Try, cry, why That was just a dream, just a dream, just a dream

GFR's Mark Farner Title Tune "For The People"
From The Rock Patriot; Mark Farner...The CD: "For The People" Look out-Here comes the truth...The haunting chorus refrains the question: "I wanna know what happened to: OF the people, BY the people, FOR the people??? From Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. Rightous Rock! These are the words to Mark Farner's song "For the People" There's a ghost in the White House The memory of a man, A man who loved his people, A patriot for this land But we no longer prosper, We just try to scrap up the dough, We can't even pay the interest On the money these idiots borrowed, * People waking up there's a question I've got to ask, I want to know what happened to, All the people, by the people, for the people We let it slip away to the government, Money spent, can't pay the rent, And it's just another day in America, It's just another day in America, It's just another day in America, Another day back home. * Apathy in the people, Brained washed by TV, ... * It makes me want to just throw up When I think about the IRS, People waking up there's a question I've got to ask, * I want to know what happened to, All the people, By the people, for the people We let it slip away Too much government, money spent, Can't pay the rent, And it's just another day in America, It's just another day in America, It's just another day in America, Another day back home. * Now do these words make sense to you, do you agree with what Mark is saying?
